- 1 box chocolate cake mix, prepared as directed
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
- 3 eggs
- Chocolate ganache for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 8-inch round cake pans and a springform pan for the cheesecake.
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions and pour into the two prepared cake pans. Bake according to package directions and let cool.
- For the cheesecake, in a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and salted caramel sauce until smooth and creamy. Pour the mixture into the springform pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set. Let it cool completely.
- Once cooled, layer the cheesecake between the two chocolate cakes. Top with chocolate ganache.
