Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Sauté Onions: Add the diced onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add Tomatoes and Spices: Stir in the diced tomatoes, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Add Cabbage: Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and stir to combine. Let the cabbage wilt slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the sausage and cabbage mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
