- 6 cups chopped Romaine lettuce
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1 cup cooked peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onions
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large glass bowl or trifle dish, layer Romaine lettuce on the bottom.
- Add cherry tomatoes, then shredded carrots.
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the carrots, followed by cooked peas.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese, then sliced red onions.
- In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread the dressing evenly over the salad, covering all layers.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
