Description

Creamy, rich, and comforting, this Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo is a delicious pasta dish made with succulent shrimp, a velvety Parmesan cream sauce, and perfectly cooked fettuccine. It’s an easy and impressive meal that brings the flavors of a classic Italian restaurant to your home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cheese has melted and the sauce is heated through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley for a burst of freshness.

Notes

  • You can add extra vegetables, such as spinach or mushrooms, to enhance the dish.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it with a splash of pasta water or more cream.
