Description

A show-stopping, indulgent dessert with three incredible layers: chewy chocolate chip cookie dough, classic Oreos, and rich, fudgy brownie. These over-the-top brownies are the ultimate treat for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

Scale

Cookie Layer:

  • 115 g unsalted butter

  • 125 g light brown sugar

  • 1 medium egg

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 225 g plain flour

  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp cornflour

  • 150 g milk chocolate chips

Oreo Layer:

  • 2025 Oreo cookies

Brownie Layer:

  • 100 g dark chocolate

  • 100 g unsalted butter

  • 2 medium eggs

  • 140 g caster sugar

  • 50 g plain flour

  • 25 g cocoa powder

  • 150 g milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a 9×13-inch baking tin with parchment paper.

  • Make the cookie layer: Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, bicarbonate of soda, salt, and cornflour. Fold in chocolate chips. Press dough into the base of the prepared pan.

  • Add the Oreos: Arrange them evenly over the cookie dough.

  • Make the brownie layer: Melt the dark chocolate and butter together. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light. Combine with the melted chocolate. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips. Pour over Oreos.

  • Bake for 35–45 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

  • Cool completely in the pan before slicing.

Notes

  • Bake on the lower end of the time range for a gooey texture, or longer for a firmer bite.

  • Let them cool before cutting for clean layers.

  • Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or refrigerated for 1 week.
