Description

These Snowman Oreo Balls are an adorable and delicious winter treat that combines the classic flavors of Oreo cookies with creamy cream cheese, all coated in white chocolate. Decorated with mini chocolate chips for eyes and buttons, orange candy for a carrot nose, and pretzel sticks for arms, these festive treats are perfect for holiday gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (36) Oreo cookies
  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • Mini chocolate chips (for eyes and buttons)
  • Orange candy (like Starburst or orange sprinkles) for the carrot nose
  • Pretzel sticks (for arms, optional)
  • Black icing or edible marker (for the mouth, optional)

Instructions

  • Make the Oreo Mixture:
Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and smashing with a rolling pin. Mix the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese until fully combined into a dough-like texture.
  • Roll into Balls:
Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the Oreo mixture and roll them into smooth balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.
  • Coat the Snowmen:
Melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts according to package instructions. Dip the Oreo balls into the melted white chocolate, coating them completely. Use a fork to lift them out and tap off the excess. Place them back on the parchment paper.
  • Decorate the Snowmen:
While the coating is still wet, press on mini chocolate chips for eyes and buttons. Shape tiny orange “carrot noses” using Starburst or use orange sprinkles. For arms, break pretzel sticks in half and press them into the sides of the Oreo balls. Once the coating hardens, you can use black icing or an edible marker to draw the mouth.
  • Chill & Serve:
Let the snowman Oreo balls chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes until firm. Serve and enjoy your adorable winter treats!

Notes

  • For a festive touch: You can add extra decorations like small candy canes or colored sprinkles to the snowman.
  • Storage: Store the snowman Oreo balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
