Description

This Spinach Artichoke Dip Pull-Apart Christmas Bread is a festive and fun twist on a classic appetizer. A loaf of round bread is hollowed out and stuffed with a creamy, cheesy spinach and artichoke dip filling. Baked until golden and bubbly, this pull-apart bread is perfect for holiday parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of round bread
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 cup chopped artichoke hearts
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Cut the top off the loaf of bread and hollow out the center, leaving about a 1-inch thick shell on the sides and bottom. Set the top aside.
  • Fill the hollowed-out bread with the spinach and artichoke mixture, pressing it down gently to pack it in.
  • Wrap the filled loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread is golden.
  • Serve warm, and enjoy dipping!

Notes

  • For a more festive presentation, use a round bread loaf with a holiday-themed shape, or add a garnish of fresh herbs on top.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for the sour cream for a healthier option.
  • To make this dish ahead of time, assemble the bread and filling, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Bake as instructed when ready to serve.
