- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 8 small flour tortillas
- Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
- Sour cream and salsa (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the sliced steak to the marinade, tossing to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until they are tender and slightly charred.
- Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Serve the steak, peppers, and onions in the tortillas. Garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve with sour cream and salsa if desired.
