These Stovetop Maple Candied Pecans are a simple yet delicious treat, featuring toasted pecans coated in a sweet and fragrant maple syrup glaze. A perfect snack or topping for salads and desserts!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • In a medium skillet, toast the pecans over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  • Add the maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt to the skillet with the pecans. Stir well to combine.
  • Cook, stirring constantly, until the maple syrup thickens and coats the pecans, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and spread the pecans out onto a piece of parchment paper to cool.
  • Once completely cooled, break apart any clumps and enjoy!

Notes

  • Keep an eye on the syrup as it cooks; if it starts to burn, lower the heat.
  • These candied pecans make a great snack, or can be added as a topping for oatmeal, ice cream, or salads.
