- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Flatten each biscuit into a 3-inch circle.
- In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Spoon a teaspoon of cream cheese mixture and a teaspoon of strawberry jam into the center of each biscuit.
- Fold the biscuit in half and pinch the edges to seal.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
- Fry the stuffed biscuits for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the fried donuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.
