- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 6 oz strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.

- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
- In a medium bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in the boiling water. Stir in the sliced fresh strawberries and let the mixture chill until partially set (about 30-45 minutes).
- Once the gelatin mixture has thickened slightly, pour it over the cream cheese layer in the baking dish.
- Chill the entire dish in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until the gelatin is fully set.
- Serve chilled and enjoy this sweet, salty, and creamy dessert!
Notes
- For the best texture, make sure the pretzel crust is completely cooled before adding the cream cheese layer.
- If you like, you can substitute the whipped topping with homemade whipped cream for a fresher taste.
- This dessert is great for potlucks, holiday gatherings, or as a refreshing summer treat.
