  • 1 box (15.25 oz) strawberry cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs

For the Cheesecake Swirl:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Swirl:

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, prepare the strawberry cake mix according to package instructions using water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
  • In another bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry cake batter. Use a knife to swirl the cream cheese mixture through the batter.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, heat chocolate chips and heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of the chocolate mixture over the cake batter. Use a knife to swirl the chocolate mixture through the batter.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
