- 4 large sweet potatoes
- 4–6 slices of butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). - Prepare Topping Mixture:
In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans if using. Set aside. - Prepare Sweet Potatoes:
Wash the sweet potatoes and prick the skins with a fork. - Bake Sweet Potatoes:
Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for about 1 hour, or until tender. Cooking time may vary based on size. - Slice and Fill:
Once done, remove the sweet potatoes from the oven and slice them open down the center. Add a slice of butter and a tablespoon of the brown sugar mixture into each potato. - Add Marshmallows:
Top each sweet potato with mini marshmallows. - Broil:
