Description

This flavorful Texas Roadhouse Steak Sauce is a perfect blend of tangy, sweet, and smoky flavors. Ideal for enhancing your grilled steaks, burgers, or as a zesty dipping sauce!

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup steak sauce (like A1)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  • Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar until smooth and well combined.
  • Add Spices: Add the garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper if using. Whisk again until all the spices are fully incorporated.
  • Simmer the Sauce: Pour the mixture into a small saucepan and place it over medium heat. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Once it begins to simmer, reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Cool and Store: Remove the sauce from the heat and let it cool. Transfer to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to let the flavors develop further.
  • Serve: Serve the sauce alongside your favorite grilled steaks, burgers, or as a dipping sauce for fries.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, increase the cayenne pepper or add a few dashes of hot sauce.
  • This sauce can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
