Description
This flavorful Texas Roadhouse Steak Sauce is a perfect blend of tangy, sweet, and smoky flavors. Ideal for enhancing your grilled steaks, burgers, or as a zesty dipping sauce!
Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup steak sauce (like A1)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
- A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar until smooth and well combined.
- Add Spices: Add the garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper if using. Whisk again until all the spices are fully incorporated.
- Simmer the Sauce: Pour the mixture into a small saucepan and place it over medium heat. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Once it begins to simmer, reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Cool and Store: Remove the sauce from the heat and let it cool. Transfer to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to let the flavors develop further.
- Serve: Serve the sauce alongside your favorite grilled steaks, burgers, or as a dipping sauce for fries.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, increase the cayenne pepper or add a few dashes of hot sauce.
