- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of each pork chop.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and Dijon mustard. Pour the mixture over the seared pork chops in the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). The sauce should be thickened and caramelized.
- Remove the skillet from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with minced parsley if desired.
Notes
