This Tropical Pineapple Cobbler is a simple yet delicious dessert that features a warm, gooey pineapple filling topped with a crumbly, buttery topping. Perfect for any occasion, it’s easy to make and pairs wonderfully with ice cream or whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in melted butter until the mixture becomes crumbly.
  • Spread the crushed pineapple (with its juice) into an ungreased 9-inch square baking dish.
  • Crumble the flour mixture over the top of the pineapple.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

For a tropical twist, you can add shredded coconut or chopped nuts on top of the cobbler before baking.
