- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground lamb over medium heat until browned.
- Add the onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the feta cheese and parsley.
- Roll out the pizza dough into an oval shape on a baking sheet.
- Spread the lamb mixture evenly over the dough.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and olive oil.
- Drizzle the yogurt sauce over the cooked pide before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute the ground lamb with ground beef or turkey if preferred.
- For a spicier kick, increase the cayenne pepper or add a chopped chili.
