Ingredients

Scale

For the Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce (or your favorite wing sauce)

For the Loaded Mashed Potatoes:

  • 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Fried Cabbage:

  • 1 small head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

For the Wings:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through.
  4. Toss the baked wings in buffalo sauce and serve.

For the Loaded Mashed Potatoes:

  1. Boil the cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.
  2. Return the potatoes to the pot. Add milk, sour cream, and butter. Mash until smooth.
  3. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Keep warm until ready to serve.

For the Fried Cabbage:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
  3. Stir in shredded cabbage, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add apple cider vinegar and cook for another 2 minutes.

Notes

This meal is perfect for a family dinner or a gathering. Adjust the spiciness of the wings and add more cheese to the mashed potatoes for extra indulgence!
