- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles (red, green, white, or snowflake-shaped)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer until creamy. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Add Chocolate Chips and Sprinkles: Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and holiday sprinkles. Save a few sprinkles for topping.
- Shape the Cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Press a few extra sprinkles on top for decoration.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but the centers are still soft. Do not overbake for chewy cookies.
- Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
