Description

A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring tender rotini, seasoned ground beef, and a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. Perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz rotini pasta

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook rotini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Sprinkle in flour and stir well to coat the beef.

  • Gradually pour in the milk while stirring to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens.

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use ground turkey for a lighter alternative.

  • Add steamed broccoli or spinach for extra veggies.

  • For extra creaminess, stir in a splash of heavy cream or cream cheese.
