- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly. Set aside 1/2 cup of the mixture for topping.
- Beat egg, vanilla, and sour cream into the remaining mixture. Spread half of this batter into the pan.
- Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread over the batter, then top with cherry pie filling.
- Spread the remaining batter and reserved crumb topping over the cherries.
- Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.
