- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion soup mix
- 1 egg
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 can French onion soup
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion soup mix, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the crockpot.
- Pour the French onion soup over the meatloaf.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
- During the last 10 minutes of cooking, sprinkle Swiss cheese on top and cover until melted.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in sautéed onions or mushrooms.
