Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb russet potatoes (2 large or 3 medium potatoes)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- ⅛ tsp ground black pepper (or to taste)
- ⅛ tsp garlic powder
- ⅛ tsp paprika
Instructions
- Prep the Potatoes: Wash the potatoes thoroughly and peel them if desired. Cut them into even-sized fries, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
- Season the Fries: In a large bowl, toss the potato fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Ensure all fries are evenly coated.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Cook the Fries: Place the seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. Check for desired crispiness and cook longer if needed.
- Serve: Once the fries are golden and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, make sure the fries are spread out in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- If you have more fries, cook them in batches for best results.
- Experiment with seasonings like onion powder or cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
