Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar for syrup
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
  • Dip each slice of bread into the pumpkin mixture, allowing it to soak.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook each slice for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • For the syrup, combine the sugar and maple syrup in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until warmed and sugar is dissolved.
