Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs

  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika

  • 2 teaspoons granulated garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 2/3 cup BBQ sauce, plus more for glazing

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, granulated garlic powder, and kosher salt.

  • Rub the spice mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.

  • Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the slow cooker.

  • Pour 2/3 cup BBQ sauce over the chicken, coating well.

  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender and cooked through.

  • Optional: For a caramelized finish, brush additional BBQ sauce on the chicken and broil in the oven for 3–5 minutes until slightly charred.

  • Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Adjust BBQ sauce quantity to taste or based on preferred sauce thickness.

  • Chicken thighs can be substituted with drumsticks or breasts, but cooking time may vary.
